Stories, framed right. — an independent production studio in the heart of the Kawarthas.
Peterborough Film Factory Inc. is a full-service film and video production studio based in Peterborough, Ontario. We develop, shoot, and finish stories for brands, filmmakers, and organisations — from concept through final cut.
Every story has a frame. We find it.
Filmmaking isn't just about pointing a camera. It's about deciding what belongs inside the frame — and what doesn't. Peterborough Film Factory exists to make those decisions well, from the first treatment to the final colour grade.
We're a small studio with a full toolkit: development, production, and post. That means fewer handoffs, clearer communication, and a finished piece that actually looks like what everyone agreed on.
What we make.
Six production disciplines — each delivered by a small, senior team that cares about the details most people skip.
Film & Documentary
Short films, documentaries, and narrative pieces — developed, shot, and finished with a filmmaker's eye for structure and truth.
Branded Content
Story-led brand films, product launches, and campaign videos that feel like cinema, not advertising.
Music Videos
Concept-driven music videos for independent and established artists — built around the song, not the budget.
Post-Production
Editing, colour grading, sound design, and finishing — the quiet work that makes everything else look effortless.
Corporate & Event
Conferences, keynotes, and corporate storytelling — captured cleanly and delivered professionally.
Creative Development
Treatments, scripts, storyboards, and pre-production planning — the groundwork that saves weeks on set.
The record.
